Review on GIGABYTE B450M DS3H V2: The Ultimate AMD Ryzen Motherboard with Micro ATX, HDMI, DVI, and USB 3.1 Support! by Jeff Labore

I wanted an ATX B450M DS3H V2 motherboard to install the Thermaltake Core case. Apparently Ryzen 5000 series processors will not work on this motherboard. . . although the documentation says it's compatible. You MUST have an updated BIOS installed to boot this motherboard. like that . . . Here's the catch: you need a bootable motherboard so you can update the BIOS, but with a lower BIOS and a NEW CPU, the board won't boot. Solution: - Return the motherboard to Gigabyte for a BIOS update. OR - you can ask AMD to send you an older processor to boot this board and update the BIOS. If Gigabyte can't find a better solution than "Send back board..." then I really don't trust ANY Gigabyte product. Please tell me Gigabyte has smarter engineers than these. Spring . . . I do not think so. My opinion on Gigabyte products is now ZERO. Please understand that this is not a Revain issue, it is a Gigabyte product issue.
