Great product for my 2012 F-150 XLT with factory rail caps, with factory cut outs! They work great once the installation is complete. CONS: It took too long to install the hooks according to the instructions. Does the manufacturer have to use longer screws/bolts, whatever they're called? These are strange contraptions. I would make them 1/8-1/4 inch longer. The torque required to turn Phillips screws will damage the head. How about a hex head or something for high torque? I couldn't get the clamp hooks under the sheet metal of the factory top rail no matter what I did. The tilt wasn't enough. FYI: I had to grind/trim one side of the clamp piece while holding the assembly with my hands (couldn't take it apart). My fine grit grinding wheel caught me a few times but with a few scuffs. The good news is that if there's a next time I can do my simple edit much faster now. So I still recommend this product if you need to do it my way.
