Review on Deway Automatic Fuel Transfer Pump - 3X More Powerful, Portable Liquid Pump Transfers Gasoline, Water & More at 2.3 Gal/Minute by Jeremy Edwards

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The engine burned out in less than 10 minutes of continuous operation. Pumped only about a gallon in that time

The product appears solid and well built. The problem lies in the design. There is no filter above the fan. And the supports that hold the end of the hose off the ground are set too high. This means you won't be able to get all the liquid out of the container. In addition, the engine is very slow. It's barely a trickle right out of the box with new batteries. It took about 10 minutes to pump a gallon out of the tank. Even before this happened, the engine burned out. Changed batteries and still nothing. For the cost of this item, I expected higher flow rates and a much longer machine life. I would recommend a hand pump that costs less than a third of that and has no moving parts to break or batteries to drain.
