Review on UnderCover SwingCase Truck Bed Storage Box for Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500, SC300D, 2002-2021 (Including Classic), Driver's Side by Robert Weeks

Please note that the manufacturer has radically changed the design of this product, the "new and improved" version does not look like the picture! The finish is matte and matte with no "cross" detailing, flat and matte rather than textured and glossy. Overall, the new version lacks the quality and appeal of the old version (I have one of each). No help from the manufacturer trying to match the old version. I have no idea why the manufacturer hasn't updated their photos (their own website still shows the old style). Edit: I contacted the manufacturer and they were no help. I explained that because I didn't expect the passenger side and driver side to be different, I installed the passenger side before realizing their product had been redesigned. Even though they agreed to provide a suitable passenger side, I'm left with 6 unwanted, unwanted, unnecessary holes in the back of a new $45,000 truck! Matching drivers side cover (old style) which I originally requested and was told was not possible. I'm re-evaluating this product and giving it 3 stars instead of 1. I would normally give this product 5 stars barring all the downsides and issues getting it right which should never have been a problem. Edit 3: As of this writing (3/22/15) the manufacturer's website has updated images (http://www.undercoverinfo.com/products/swingcase), other websites may not have these updated images.
