I have an Extang Trifecta 3-ply soft bedspread and the back spring of the bedspread is in contact with the storage box. First, it is a practical box. I have a trunk lid and this box allows me to access the tools without having to roll the lid all the way back. It had a surprising amount of storage space, but not as much as a regular cargo box. Now here is the only real negative point. Critical reviews should be heeded. This is very poor value for what you get. The idea is good and has potential, but the essence is not correct. First, as others have said, it's made of very thin and cheap plastic. Once you fill it, the sides are swollen and you can't fix the top. As expected. No, this isn't a heavy steel tool box, but the plastic is strong enough to hold the typical tools and parts that most of them have in the back of a truck. I put about 35-40 pounds in each of the straps, chains, hitch adapters and tools. I put one on either side in my 2016 RAM 2500 and they fit perfectly.
