As expected. No, this isn't a heavy steel tool box, but the plastic is strong enough to hold the typical tools and parts that most of them have in the back of a truck. I put about 35-40 pounds in each of the straps, chains, hitch adapters and tools. I put one on either side in my 2016 RAM 2500 and they fit perfectly. The bracket adapts to the existing recess on the truck, making assembly easier. The screws were screwed in with an impact wrench. Both were installed in less than 10 minutes. My truck is already covered with an ARE Z Series lid and there is still plenty of room for lid mounts/clips over the toolboxes. My only surprise was that the distance between the two toolboxes is less than 48 inches (they protrude beyond the wheel wells). Well, I don't lug around 4x8 sheets that often, and when I do, it's easy enough to hang a drawer off the hinges. I would not recommend using them on open beds where there is no cover. I think UV rays make them brittle but I could be wrong. Overall, this is a great product that solves the wasted space problem and makes it easier to access.
