First, it is a practical box. I have a trunk lid and this box allows me to access the tools without having to roll the lid all the way back. It had a surprising amount of storage space, but not as much as a regular cargo box. Now here is the only real negative point. If you have a drip in your bed lining, you MUST cut off a small piece of the lining to install your gear. The instructions require you to cut out the largest size and shape of the entire toolbox. If you look at my photos you will see that minimal cuts can be made. There are videos online showing how to install without damaging the bed sheet. Also if you have shoelaces and bedside lamps like I have in the photos this box will cover them. I can still get to my mounts, but I have to go either under the crate or over the top of the crate. You can set the box a little higher and have better access to the tie. I decided against it. Otherwise it's a great box.
