Review on Samsung U32D970Q Professional Monitor - 3840x2160p, 55Hz, UHD by Cam Girard

This monitor has been amazing for the last few months with really sharp 4K playback and great accurate colors after calibration. However recently it had a vertical blue pixel bar that won't go away and contacting Samsung support about it was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Their support webpage for this monitor is unavailable and it's impossible to submit a ticket on their site without finding the product page or using a dropdown menu that *doesn't* contain the monitor. I spoke to them about this website issue a few months ago when trying to register a monitor and it still hasn't been resolved. As a result, I got stuck in a loop of Samsung reps telling me this monitor doesn't exist, even if they emailed them. a dedicated product page for that monitor, pictures of the monitor with the Samsung logo, receipts, and even photos of the barcode and serial number. If you buy this, the warranty is basically worthless - hopefully you're not stuck with a giant $1,500 paperweight. // Edit 8/27/15 // I sent this monitor back from repairs in mid-July after about a week and a half. . After several days of trying to figure out how to fix the problem, I finally got back to someone who told me that I needed to contact Samsung's business-to-business support to fix the problem , although it wasn't listed anywhere on the internet and none of the staff I've phoned or emailed hasn't mentioned it beforehand. Even if you check the support page for this product now, it redirects to consumer support, which takes customers nowhere. While I was glad the repair was quick and my original issue resolved, they clearly ripped off the bezel to access it and the new bezel has a distinct purple tinge in the lower right corner covering about 4 square inches.
