Review on πŸ”Œ Streamline Your Vehicle's Electrical System with CURT 56202 T-Connector Wiring by Michael Boonme

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I would give it 5 stars barring a few minor issues that Kurt could fix. cable length.

Works well. Once installed. On a 2014 GMC Acadia (production 6/13) you need to route the battery cable which is located behind the passenger seat in the main cabin. That means you have to drill a hole through the battery box in the floor of the car. It wasn't a big deal and they provided enough cables for you to fish it out from under the car and attach it to the head unit. The reason I gave it to the stars is twofold. The module is too big to fit in the lighting unit. And the wires are too short to install it in an easy place. I'm still trying to find a permanent place for myself. The second reason for 2 stars is the length of the connector on the driver's side. It's not long enough for a simple connection. We're just talking about the other 6 inches of wire. If Kurt didn't install this on a 2014 Acadia, but actually did the install, I would recommend that they do it. And if so, I'd love to see how they moved it from the passenger side to the driver's side because I couldn't find any clear routes. Maybe they have x-ray goggles. Anyway, their technician was good and everything works. It took me 3 hours. Well, the connection to the battery. tell me how you did it I need to get some parts for that.
