Review on ๐Ÿ›ถ Redneck Convent Telescopic Boat Cover Support: Adjustable Pole System for Zero Water and Debris on Your Marine Boat by Jose Baldwin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nicely made and works well

Unfortunately the support post does not come with simple instructions showing that the top "snap mount" can be easily removed and the "mushroom" - end fits into the socket. position so that the rod can support the tarpaulin without being damaged by a sharp pressure point. I replaced the latch (remove the screw holding the latch) with a stainless steel screw. I enlarged the original small screw hole to allow the screw to easily go through the plastic and thread onto the stainless steel nut. I put the plastic end back on and inserted the bolt into the socket placed in my boat's lid to prevent the prop from falling off after wind and snow loads. It worked great. The twist lock is easy to use and securely locks where you need it without slipping. I found this to be the cheapest post, made in the USA and anodized to prevent corrosion. I've seen several others that were much more expensive with no added benefit.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
