Review on πŸ”† Aeotec TriSensor - Z-Wave Plus S2 Enabled Motion Sensor with Temperature and Light Sensor | Works with Z-Wave Hub Smartthings | 3-in-1 Security System | Battery Powered by Stephen Pendergrass

Much better than MultiSensor 6.

I have a MultiSensor 6 which is a normal sensor. The biggest issue I've had is that the MultiSensor's range has never been a big hit in the real world. In my situation I placed it in the room opposite the door so that when entering (depending on the hour and other decisions) some kind of automation would start, one of which should turn on the light. The problem I had was that even at the highest sensitivity it only triggered when I was already close to the sensor. Based on several reviews I decided to try the TriSensor and it is so much better! The motion detection range seems to have increased significantly. So much so that I had to change its location as when placed next to the multisensor it would trigger if someone walked past the room without entering it. The temperature sensor and light sensor appear to be the same, which is also an upgrade from the multi-sensor where the temperature always seemed quite offset despite the fixed offsets. I wish the TriSensor had an RH sensor as well, but that will do. Add to that the TriSensor also looks better (IMO) and has a multi-colored LED diffuser, and that's quite a win for me. I believe Aeotec will soon be phasing out the current MultiSensor 6 model and replacing it with this design, but for now I'm happy with the TriSensor. Please note that I am using SmartThings and the DH recommended by Aeotec on the support page gave me problems. When I found the DH from "krlaframboise", I really liked this little sensor.
