good product easy to use Adding new keys to a 2001 Mercury Sable

I used this with Forscan software to program new keys to a 2001 Mercury Sable easily and quickly, saved me an expensive trip to the dealer to get new keys programmed. I bought a used car with only (1) key and figured it was no big deal. Then I learned that without having two keys in hand that are programmed into the car's computer, you have to go to a locksmith or dealer to have another one added so that you have a spare again. My understanding is that it can cost several hundred dollars. this article and forscan's software makes it so that you can take a new chipped blank key and add it to the car computer yourself and remove the missing key GOOD!
