As the name suggests, the heat exchanger of the old heat pump stove started to look like new. The stove was installed in 1986 in a household that had at least two pets at all times during that time. I sprayed the cleaner on well and vigorously, let it sit for 1/2 hour and then rinsed it off with a garden hose. What came out! I sprayed it on and left it on then rinsed it off again and it was a bright aluminum color and I could see all the way through the coils with a flashlight. The directions say no rinsing is required but with the amount of heavy visible dirt I could see I think it helped.
