I bought this for my bird Conner the Conure. It's big so be careful. Each of the rings is large enough for Conner (the size of a cockatiel if you don't know what a kennel is) to sit in the ring and perch on top of it. Of course, because of the way they're layered on top of each other, he can't do that. However, sometimes he likes to hang on to the rings and swing the toy out of the cage. It's long — almost 20 inches actually, long enough to hang on a hook and such, so don't buy it if you have a small cage. However, if you have a perch outside the cage, this toy can be hung from it. It's colorful and Conner likes to chew on it (he chews on everything, so it's okay), but it's strong enough. it didn't do much damage and we've had it for a few months now. It is durable, the metal is not galvanized and there are no sharp edges. It seems very safe for small and large birds as nothing can get stuck on or in it. I would recommend for a bird that loves toys and is big enough for Revane or Gray, maybe even a cockatoo. , and yet my little pineapple green-cheeked rider loves it too.
