Although the unit comes with everything needed for installation, the braided water supply hose does not use standard 3/8" compression fittings. Instead of installing a standard T-adapter on the water shut-off , They suggest that you install a non-standard tee on the service port at the bottom of the toilet faucet stem.This spot is often very difficult to reach, and they expect you to thread a brass thread onto the plastic threads on the faucet assembly.Bad idea, esp when it comes to being able to do it with just one hand and only after training as a circus acrobat!Anyway I managed to remove those threads and had to replace the entire faucet knot in the toilet which turned a 20 minute job into a nightmare made for the whole day I got it finally managed to install this bastard fixture and the device itself works pretty well. I'm wondering what to do if the hose ever leaks as there doesn't seem to be a replacement or adapter hose or adapter to connect to a standard fitting. I can't even figure out exactly what size this thing is, metric or SAE! Overall, it would be a lot easier if they just used default installs and gave people some flexibility in how they install. To be honest I just don't get it and will look elsewhere in the future!
