Review on Auto Ventshade [AVS] Hood Shield Carflector Low Profile, Smoke Color 20055 Fits 2013 - 2018 Toyota RAV4 by Hugh Starr

I'm not a mechanic and don't really like messing with my car. But this was so easy! Instructions are easy to follow. You don't need to know anything about cars, except how to lift the hood! I've driven over 1000 miles since installation and there have been no issues with the shield. If anything, it has improved my driving experience.It seems that the shield diverts rain and snow slightly upwards, away from the windshield so I'm not getting so much hitting it. This is especially true when in the snow. Snow used to pile up rapidly on the windshield, but after installing the Ventshade I notice the snow "flying" over the lower part of the windshield. I'm not talking about blizzard conditions, just active snowing.The Ventshade has also protected my hood from rock damage. I live in snow country where the road dept uses a lot of cinders on the road. Before adding the shield, I noticed tiny rock chips. Now it's protected. In warmer months, I also am not seeing the tiny specks of asphalt/road tar on my hood.I have gone through a carwash with the shield multiple times and so far it hasn't suffered any damage.
