I bought this box to add extra storage for our teardrop camper. It was actually pretty easy to install, but it doesn't come with any installation hardware. I had to drill five holes (both on the box and trailer tongue) and I used five self-tapping screws (like you see on server/network racks). You can buy screws at any hardware store or hardware store. Although it was more expensive, we opted for a white aluminum box over black because it just looked better on our camper with white aluminum cladding. We wanted something to store the teardrop power cord, water hoses, wheel chocks, small tools, etc. The box looks small, but it actually has more than enough space than we actually need, so we'll probably pack some extra camping gear. inside. It looks very good on our teardrop and the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because I haven't camped with it since installing it and want to make sure it will hold up to usage (which I expect). The lid has a bottom seal and the lid's locking pin can be adjusted to allow you to seal it tightly against the elements. I tested it with a water hose in the yard and it was completely dry inside. If water ever gets inside the box, there are two 1/4" drain holes (with rubber plugs) on the bottom to allow drainage. It comes with keys for the lock, but I tend to leave it unlocked so thieves can see there's nothing of value inside, so they don't destroy the box by climbing inside. My only complaint (which may or may not be a manufacturer's fault) is that it arrived with a few small dents which may or may not have appeared during shipping. Luckily the dents were so small that I could knock them out with a ball-peen hammer. While I'm not thrilled with the price or the difference in price between the white aluminum box and the black aluminum box ($28+), it looks well made, looks great on our camper and will give us some much needed storage. . I've looked at other cheaper black polyurethane plastic boxes but read reviews that they don't weather well, which is important if you plan on carrying tools around. I suppose in this case you get what you pay for. So if you need a quality storage box that will keep your stuff dry and lockable, I would recommend this one. I'll try to post pics as soon as I can figure out how based on these reviews. For your health.
