Not heavy but adequate for my needs - recommended. Update: I've plowed two winters in Colorado (1-2017) and my first set of plow skids that I installed 2-2015 have worn out. I'm plowing a 3/10 mile wide driveway at 15 feet and a large recycled asphalt parking lot - pretty rough compared to the dirt. I did not count the number of plows in these two years, I estimate 8-10. I plow with a BobCat truck and a medium duty plow that weighs about 200 pounds mounted on a "float". This means no downward hydraulic pressure, just the weight of the blade so it slides with every slight change in road grade. I got 24 months of plowing for $32 - seems reasonable. Best not to walk down the driveway after heavy snow anyway - UPDATE 3-2021 and now of course - they're not available when I need supplies - but it's suspicious that $97 skids are available.
