I was glad to get this and expand my Wi-Fi network. Unfortunately, this was completely ineffective. I have a brand new Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router that works fine. I think it would be very compatible. I set it up (which didn't seem to be a problem). Then I even went to the extension cord on my computer as instructed in the instructions. This indicated a good connection. I checked for hardware updates (there weren't any). The only problem is that he didn't extend the signal. The speed test in the room with an extension cable was really no better than without. All the lights were lit properly and it should have been good. I've searched and searched but couldn't find any support or chat numbers that could help me. I'll return it tomorrow.
