I use these seeds to fill my outdoor bird feeders. It is constantly visited by grieving doves and smaller birds (finches, sparrows, etc.), but it does not attract raptors (blue jays, etc.). I have a regular pair of mourning doves so it's good to keep their eggs and chicks away from predators. And with this seed there is no waste, only chaff after they eat the whole seed.
