I decided to share this with you all. I live on a farm. Since I moved here in 2017, my well water smells like rotten eggs from the sulfur. tests, right? I've also called several companies to get an estimate for a new well and/or cistern. Nothing has worked so far... If your water smells like rotten eggs, do it! Replace the magnesium anode rod in the water heater with an aluminum/iron rod. I'm telling you, it's not the easiest task, but it has changed the world! When magnesium and sulfur oxidize, it creates that awful smell! My smell of rotten eggs is completely gone now and the water is clear! After years of watching YouTube I finally found a video that helped! I bought this anode stick and it works great! Hope this helps someone too!
