The title is really all you need to know. For what I managed to put in mine: 1. USB ethernet cable2. Roller mouse RED3. Keyboard Drakken Prothero Spectrum4. Epson5 printer. KLIM Wind laptop fan. He has four. I have two more USB ports left for this absolute USB hub block! Yes, each of them can be disabled individually using the dedicated button. If you try to use an external hard drive, it wins. won't be able to give it enough energy and won't read/write it properly. While it should theoretically work with flash drives, I'd be wary of that too. Some of these flash drives use way more power than they should! Please note that I received this HUB because I am using a mid 2011 MacBook Air. There are no docking options for it, even third-party ones. And after MANY and MANY inspections I've only heard good things about this particular one! I can confirm, great! Note that I only use one of the two USB ports on my laptop. This way I can use another direct USB port on my laptop for, say, an external hard drive. Therefore, the inability to connect an external hard drive (and some flash drives) shouldn't be as big a problem as it might seem at first glance. Please note that the cable for the hub is thick and a bit difficult to manage. . While the hub itself is SUPER EXTREMELY efficient with its space and is both functional and compact, it can be a BIT impractical to place it in the right spot. In any case, it shouldn't be too damn hard. find an outstanding USB HUB, but here I am! I finally found it! But seriously, everyone else is super tricky at an even higher price than this! So what! I don't know what everyone else is doing, but the people behind this particular one really know what they're doing! I use it extensively and almost every day since I got it! FANTASTIC PURCHASE! And then I cry when I don't have enough room in my backpack to carry it around and I'm stuck with 2 USB ports until I get home to use the HUB again! USB ports or do crazy back and forth, unplug and juggle to get things done! Not having to disable them to turn them off individually is also something I'll miss if I ever have to use anything else! It's way cheaper than a laptop dock, so there it is! No, it doesn't work with external hard drives, but damn it could almost work with something else! Please note that I haven't tested charging my phone with it yet, but I will investigate and update this review to let you all know if it worked reasonably or not.
