I have been using this scanner and software for over a year now. are problems. The biggest is that NeatReceipts no longer supports it or the software. Also, no cleaning products or parts are provided for the scanner. Therefore, I advise against buying this scanner. Scanner: I find that inserting the long side of the receipt into the scanner works quite well at first. The placement of the receipt with the short edge has to be redone often (sometimes several times). This cannot be avoided as many receipts are too long to insert on the long side. The upper corner is often bent. Software: The software does not save previous selections. For example, I always want my export to be in pdf format, but the program always suggests an image type. The same applies to the file location and other elements. Some things don't work at all. When I chose "color" (instead of black and white) to scan, the receipts are still displayed in black and white. The software is having trouble identifying things. Lowe's has a nice logo, but this software always shows "Loves". Why am I still using it? Because I only chose receipts that I know work and are a bit easier to use than my MFP.
