Okay, but maybe it'll be great. Read the Cons section

I print with Elegoo Mars. I have ordered 2 bottles of this resin and so far the print quality has been excellent. FOR and AGAINST are listed below. PROS: I was looking for something much stronger than regular resins and this stuff is definitely stronger than regular resins, but it's not as strong as it could be because it offers some flexibility if you need that kind of thing. Slight odor compared to other resins I've used. The color is pretty happy. (For me at least) CONS: I'm not sure if the following is a definite con or not, but I'll update this once I confirm it. So far all my prints have gotten incredibly sticky and it took a really long time to get rid of that stickiness and you don't get rid of it all if your print has a few small gaps. I've tried cleaning it with green cleaner (which is great for other resins), leaving it under a UV lamp and leaving it outside, but some parts will still be sticky. HOWEVER, due to this whole COVID crisis, isopropyl alcohol is very hard to come by (I won't pay $25 for a quarter gallon, Revane. Sorry). So I couldn't try cleaning my prints with isopropyl alcohol, which I'm pretty sure will remove all the tack. I got my hands on the 70 percent isotope prep pads and they clean them up fairly quickly, if not completely, so I'm guessing that dipping in a little over 90 percent will do the job, but until I get to that I can not say for sure. The shiny areas in the image are areas that after about a day's exposure to ultraviolet light (artificial and solar) are still tacky and signify a green clearing. If the alcohol gets better I'll give five stars.

Pros
  • Consumables for 3D printing
Cons
  • No productivity
