Review on Winco SS 1211 Sharpening 12 Inch Medium by Amber Fox

Revainrating 2 out of 5

this is the stone you abuse to spare loved ones! ;)

Firstly if you have a vinco in your area it's 5 bucks cheaper there (didn't know :( ) this rock has problems! Like a lot of them! Anyway, was regardless of my low Stern the stone is worth its price! You have to be careful though this stone is sticky! So if you don't know what you are doing or don't learn how to sharpen safely you might pass by for that reason!Stay where it is can suddenly grab the blade in the middle of a blow and your fingers slip off the blade! This can be very unsafe if you don't know how to hold the knife properly or where to put your fingers on the blade when sharpening! Stone bends to shrink One side were larger than the other side during production so prepare to flatten the stone once it is delivered, the fine grit is also sharper and serrated as you can rub the handle of the spoon up and down the edges from now on no one else will have to do it The stone didn't need this stone show, it can only be used for reprofiling or chamfering (whereby you can saw your hand without cutting yourself), not for sharpening! Once you have the blade move on to your whetstones :) not a slow wear stone, it wears out fast! So first and foremost not the best stone, the quality of this stone is not very good, but this stone is better than your $50-$100 stones! The more you work with this stone, the smaller your more expensive top stones, making this stone really worth every penny! One side works better when wet and the other, works better when dry! So make sure you do any necessary work on the side of the course before using the thinner side, be it one of two or a large number of knives before soaking! because it takes time to dry this stone again! That's all, have a nice day and God bless
