Review on Power Z23 1212 Evolution Sport Brake by Nick Kussmaul

I have tried many different brake pads over the years but these Z23 really impressed me. Following the manufacturer's recommendations for proper lapping of new pads, these things are a definite improvement! As the original factory pads neared the end of their life, I began looking for a replacement. The stock rate faded a bit as you slowed aggressively at the bottom and near the end of the ramp. But all the time this fade was happening in the last 10-20 feet, and it was predictable. These new Z23s feel like they improve stopping power deeper into the braking zone. No more wilting, even when fully loaded with equipment and people. These pillows will boost your confidence by helping you know when and where to stop. That's great! I had clean rotors and replaced the original pads which had 4mm of life remaining. I did not turn the rotors. They were clean, genuine and very well ground. I would definitely like to, but again! I do the general maintenance of our family cars myself. I have worked with vehicles for over 30 years during which time I have earned ASE certification, competed and won national and state troubleshooting competitions and earned a degree in Automotive Management. I have raced, traveled extensively, owned over 30 different vehicles and serviced hundreds more.
