That's a great idea; this doesn't work so well in practice. With the forearm brace you can significantly increase the power of the blade. With a lot of effort, however, it does not defrost effectively. The Hoppy Bear Claw is easier to use and more effective in practice. Much to my surprise, this also applies to Ice Drift. Ice Destoyer looks like it should work better, but in practice it doesn't work. I'm sticking with the Hoppy Bear Claw, my standard for many years and by far the best I've found.
