Probe leaks to base right out of the box. The included tire valve is not a standard 1/4 NPT, but a proprietary O-ring connection that also leaks. I am very disappointed in the overall quality of this product. I contacted Milton through the website and never received a reply. I asked one of my colleagues to contact them with a question about another product, but they didn't respond to that request either. The snap-on version is about double the price, which I'll probably buy after this one dies. The advantage is that it is accurate.
