Review on 🚗 MOOG 512333 Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly: Reliable Performance and Durability for Smooth Rides by Andrew Young

My Jeep loves to eat these things. I usually spend the extra money on Moog parts, but I'm not sure they're worth it when it comes to these hub assemblies. I have now replaced every bearing on my truck at least once. This fall I again noticed a horrible tire whistle coming from my rear driver's side wheel. a bearing I replaced less than 2 years ago. This is my fifth Moog driver side bearing change and I am currently on my third set on the passenger side with 125,000 miles on it. I was able to take advantage of the 3 year warranty a few times when I bought my first hub from my local parts store. Not sure how the warranty works for the product I bought from Amazon? If you can answer this question, I would appreciate if you could leave the details in the comment section. Even when the bearing seemed to hold up well for an extended period of time, I've had one instance where the rust around the tone ring got so bad that my car was flashing the ABS code and for a few minutes every time I drove went into emergency mode .on her. Pulled out the ABS connector, cleaned it carefully and erased the tone ring and code. And went back into emergency mode. I had to change camp again. Wonderful! I decided to leave a review as I just bought some cheap spares to replace another old Moog socket. The replacement just arrived on my doorstep and I plan on installing a driver's side rear wheel bearing tomorrow morning. Luckily I'm now a seasoned pro at replacing these bearings and it takes less than an hour with a minimal tool kit and a good quality torque wrench. At this point, I'd like to go back to the dirty days when wheel bearings were filled with grease instead of the inferior sealed bearings that the automotive industry has taken over.
