Review on πŸ”Š FIAMM 72102 Enhanced Freeway Blaster HIGH Note Horn by Mark Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sooo much better than the regular Roadrunner horn!

I bought this for my 2018 Indian Scout. The location of the socket head screw on the stock horn made removal a bit tricky, but that has nothing to do with this horn. I bought a higher pitched model and couldn't be happier. Sure, it's not as loud as an air horn, but it's a huge improvement over the stock horn. It's noisy! I believe if you could find a place you could put a high and a low frequency horn in parallel and get an even better horn. Again, you'll need to work around a few obstacles to get SHCS back. What I did was first put the brace on the bike (it's just a piece of flat metal with a hole in each end. One hole is larger than the other. Small hole for the horn itself, larger end to attach to the bike) . Put on the orthosis so that it fits snugly but can still be moved with a little effort. You want to be able to point it as far as possible when it's on. After the bracket is installed, install the horn, access to the grease on the right side of the bike, it's much easier! If necessary, the mount can be easily bent when you need to overcome obstacles. With everything pressed down a bit, turn the horn forward as far as you can, then tighten everything up! Did! I didn't get it wet so I don't know how it will hold up in the rain. I'm in Arizona and only got caught in the rain twice.
