Review on πŸ” Black Locking Media Storage Cabinet by Prepac by Tonya Connors

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cheap junk works best for media storage

My issues with this are as follows: 1. 1 side has a cheap slide bolt that is almost impossible to close as the bolt hole is very small and difficult to find.2. 1 side has a cheap lock that if you really want to keep someone out of the closet, it's easy to open without a key because it just slides into a small groove on the top of the closet.3. The doors will not stay fully closed IF you do not lock the cabinet.4. The angle at which the doors open forces you to find a lot more space on the sides of the cabinet than you probably want, allowing you to easily open the doors. MUCH waste of space. You cannot close and lock the left door unless you leave space between the Blu-Ray and the door locking mechanism. In the left and right closet space, you cannot move the top shelf down because there a screw takes up the space where the shelf support would be. This means that instead of an extra row of Blu-Ray shelves, you get 2 Blu-Ray shelves, 1 DVD shelf, and 1 space primarily dedicated to CDs. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. The case is made of a very cheap material and while it fits all the Blu-rays I wanted, other issues just make me nervous. Opening and closing the closet is more difficult than storing the movies and games I bought it for.
