In my case (Chevrolet 2500HD 2015) the lower part is held by two screws as shown in the picture. The top is held in place with two tabs and two small pieces of glue (the size of a thumbnail) that should stick to the inside of the bumper. I was skeptical from the start. It includes a (very) small alcohol wipe to clean the splices. No problem, I have rubbing alcohol and a rag, so I clean the spot very well to give the glue the best possible chance. I continue the installation according to the instructions. After installing it, I went out the next morning to find the top was unattached. I have to admit I wasn't too surprised given the size and location of the adhesive. Upon removing it, I was surprised to find that the adhesive was still stuck to the bumper. It didn't stay on the factory installed grate. I brought this matter to Putco's attention and basically asked if there has been a design change based on the image here and on their website (the top tabs are different). No design changes, their solution was to send me two new pieces of glue. No thank you. Let's go back to the drawing board. I'm sure there is glue to hold this in place (epoxy or JB Weld?) but to access this area the entire front grille of the truck would have to be removed. In summary, the grille looks nice in place, but be prepared to do some extra work to get it right. Mine is on the shelf.
