Review on 🚲 Enhanced SPD Dual Platform Pedal by SHIMANO PD-M324: Maximizing Performance and Versatility by Dave Moody

My second set! best pedals

I love these all-weather pedals. I originally bought these pedals blind when I first bought the bike because the store recommended them. After 8 years of service they started to wear out a little worse so I replaced them with Crank Brothers flip flop pedals. What absolute rubbish! I dabbled in commuting for 6 months before I said enough. So I bought "other" Shimano flip-flop pedals. It was an improvement, especially when cropped, but the uncut side was complete garbage. Have been doing this for about a year. Well, that's enough, and I decided to return to the abandoned pedals. Oh my dear PD-M324 how I miss your hugs. How I've longed for your firm grip on my unattached legs and the confidence I get when I dock with your trimmed side. you spin so smooth you look so wonderful you take me places I am back. Forever this time. In all seriousness. These pedals are the bomb. IDK about weight. That's not what these pedals are for. This is for those who buckle up to commute to work or school but don't want to bother with fancy shoes for lunch or a hot date. They have worked for 8 years without any complaints, even when they were beaten. I keep dumping the bike on its side because I'm too cool (how MUCH cool!) for the footrest. I also ride in the rain because I'm cool (like REALLY cool haha jk). I have ridden these pedals on flooded trails to the point where they were completely submerged. No problem. My only concern is that they are unrecoverable. Come on Shimano Give me good/spare bearings! Or not, whatever. I will still buy them.
