Review on πŸ”₯ Cutting-edge Performance: Canitu Drill Cutter Speed Steel Unleashed! by Joey Gilbert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent set of graduated bits for light use.

I needed new step drill bits and decided to try them. For the most part, when it comes to attachments, saw blades, etc., you get what you pay for, so I wasn't expecting much from them. They come in a nylon pouch which is nice and you get 3 different bits. Variety helps with versatility as you may be short on space or able to work with thicker materials. They are advertised as cutting wood, plastic, STEEL and sheet metal. They are good for wood and plastic. You can easily cut multiple test pieces from wood. Firewood I did not burn, sawed quickly and cleanly. However, I've mostly used them with plastic, punching holes where I needed them for some lighting setups, and in a friend's car to run the cable to mount the camera. If that's what you need them for, then they will. Again, you get quick, clean cuts in plastic. I tried a larger cutter on a thin piece of metal and it cut well. After a few holes, I felt the drill was struggling and it seemed like it was starting to dull. With thicker steel (square bar or something), I don't think I'll feel safe using them. They'll probably cut a few holes, but after that I think they'll be destroyed. With thinner sheet metal, you can drill a few dozen holes before they dull. Luckily I don't need them for metalwork. My wood and plastic applications are no problem. If you're looking for a quality metalworking set, keep looking. These will not fit. If you want wood and plastic like mine then this is a good option at a great price.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
