Review on Precision Thin Rip Jig: Efficient Table Saw Accessory for ๐Ÿ”ช Accurate Narrow Strip Cuts on Table Saws, Router Tables, and Band Saws by James Crofton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First measure the distance between the corner slot and the blade!

I have a Dewalt table saw. The angled slot is 6" from the blade and the roller bearing in this jig does NOT extend far enough to break 1/4" or 1/8" wide strips. The first two photos show a 1/4 inch piece of maple stacked on a blade; the bearing does not touch it. the last photo is also fully extended. The best it will do is 3/8 inch or more. Don't add another half inch of length. And there are several others on the market that look just like this one. Measure first, buy once or not.
