Review on πŸ’ͺ DEWALT Carbide Oscillating Tool Blade: Effortlessly Remove Grout with DWA4219 by Brett Blazis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

extremely practical tool

I bought it to remove joints and it does its job perfectly. (Just keep in mind that most grouts are Portland cement-based, which means you'll likely need some sort of respirator against silicate dust, just like concrete dust.) I've only had it a week, and I was pleased to find The Sanders Combo quickly did a job that would have taken me hours if I had only done it a month ago before I knew about this tool. I won't talk about convenience as many reviews mention it. A few more things in response to the comments about the tool changer and light: I'm a 64 year old female, weighing 120 pounds, probably average grip strength for my height/age, and have had no issues with the tool changer (I have others comments seen on this occasion). I have to stay focused while using it. When my hands get really tired, I use the edge of the tabletop to help. Light: others say it is useless; I do not agree. However, it only illuminates the area directly in front of the instrument. So, for example, if you want to use the entire surface of the seam scraper (front and sides), it doesn't help if you use the sides of the seam scraper. It can be a little annoying with the light bouncing around when it's not helping, but overall I'd rather have one light.
