Review on Wolo 430 Musical Horn Dixieland by Jeff Labore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as loud as I would like.

I have a problem with the compressor. Works fine until it gets wet. Then the pipes start leaking and cracking. I wasn't sure what to do. My kids all said try WD40. I said you can't pour oil in the compressor. They said what are you losing? Well they were right, I had nothing to lose. I did my best to install the horns and all the wiring. So I removed all hoses from the compressor. I sprayed some oil into each hole of the horn and just let it sit for a while. I put a rag on the compressor to blow out the oil. what he did Then I reconnected the hoses and sure enough. Horn works! All pipes in all their glory. My horn is a 4 trumpet horn. So the 5th hole is closed. I removed the cover to the 5th hole. And I added a short hose so I can get to the compressor much easier now. And I can oil it more regularly.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Operating speed
