If you can use a screwdriver, you can install this tire holder. I used 3m of double sided decorative tape on the grommets of the bracket to prevent the bracket from chafing the paint on the door. I also added a washer and a large silicone bead to the side of the nut and bolt. I would also suggest that you use the box the bracket comes in as a template to set up the bracket, mark the holes with a marker, mount the bracket to the door making sure the marks match, drill a 1/8" hole and then 5/16" or whatever size screws you use.
