I bought a seat so I could come out of the pool without changing. I bent over it wet today and the water immediately ran right into the seat! I had to grab a towel and put it on the driver's seat as usual. I think if the dog pees on it you can throw it away. At least put a garbage bag underneath to protect your own car seat. Now I have the added expense of buying a can of Scotchgard and spray-spraying this seat cover and I'm hoping it works, along with a garbage bag under the seat cover. The reverse window is gone, but the advantage is that it is easy to install.
