Light use only for pruning thorny plants.

Well made and easy to use. However, it is light with little leverage so suited to consumer use with small stem cutting. Great for thorny plants like bougainvilleas.

I looked at a few of these pruning tools before buying this one. This was the best price for what you got. I found this tool to give you exactly what it''s designed to do. It''s light weight but it works. We have a 12 foot tall climbing rose and this tool was way better than me having to get up on a ladder each time and reach across to prune. I saw some negative reviews but people need to be realistic. This is for pruning tall roses or other tall thin items. You can''t try to cut a tree branch and then complain that it doesn''t work.
