Review on 🐦 Bernat Birdsong Pipsqueak Stripes - 16206060018 by Carla Anderson

Let me start by saying that this is one of my favorite yarns. I bought this yarn to make a quilt pattern that comes free on the box. The yarn is very soft but smells of chemicals. When I started knitting, there were black streaks on the yarn. I'm not sure what it is. It looks a bit greasy, I'm so frustrated that I've spent several hours on my work and now it looks like this. Hopefully after washing and blocking I can get what I got out of the yarn. I am very disappointed and have never had any problem buying from the store. Unfortunately this yarn has been discontinued so this is my only way to get it. BEWARE of this problem. I plan on letting you guys know after washing to see if it comes out completely.
