I open the door and run my butt over the seat to get into my Toyota Highlander. With these seat covers I take a COMPLETE part of the seat with me. It's annoying and every time I sit down I have to pull it back. My wife thinks it's perfect, but it doesn't sit in its seat. She jumps and levitates above the seat, then plops down the middle like a levitating angel. She's the only person I've ever seen doing it. If YOU do that magical miracle swim when you get in a tall truck, YOU will have no problem at all with these seat covers. They are great for short-term coverage of imperfections. You look beautiful. BUT. BUT. But when you put your butt in a car seat, you have to adjust those covers every time you get in the car, like ill-fitting braces. I know in this case I will wear a hole or rip it, after all I have to fix it every time I go in (OR I have to learn the angelic way of hanging my wife).
