I have a flat boat with a trolling motor that I use for backcountry work. Because a lot of the lakes I visit have unpaved slopes and the water level is pretty low. I use the ramps I built from these surface strips to launch my boat. Even though I have a winch, these slides make it easy enough to unload and load my boat by hand most of the time because it slides so well. They were wider than I needed for my purposes and cutting with a circular saw was a daunting task which showed this to be a durable product.
