Simple and light but you should be aware that LED lights will interfere with the remote control.

remote controls received quickly and in good condition. It was surprisingly easy to program the controls for each of our two garage door openers (both Chamberlains, different models from the early 2000's). The instructions were absolutely simple, clear, and to the point (I think some of the other reviewers have expressed issues with instructions regarding garage door openers). I programmed both remote controls for both garage doors in less than 15 minutes. The range isn't great (I'm usually 200ft from my house when they answer), but I generally find it safer since you should be able to see the garage door (and what might be next to it) when you open it. It turned out that the LED bulbs I used in the garage door opener body generated enough radio frequency (RF) interference that any remote control was rendered useless when the light was on. I went back to the (old school) lightbulb and my problem was gone. If your remote suddenly fails and your garage door normally works by pressing a button on the wall, consider replacing the lightbulb with a standard incandescent or CFL and see if that solves the problem. I also understand that there are some LED light bulbs that have technology to limit their RF interference. However I am happy with the purchase of these remote controls and for me they worked well and were easy to program with my garage door openers.
