Pairs well with 2 Purple Chamberlain Buttons.

Used to program two Chamberlains with a "purple button". I found a guide that fits my situation. The only problem I had was trying to change the PIN during the initial pairing with the openers. It wasn't in the instructions and it didn't work. When I followed the instructions step by step, namely docking the opener with the factory PINs, everything went well. After pairing, I followed the instructions to change the PIN. Works well as there is a beep when the button is pressed. I'm replacing anโ€ฆ

It works with my Genie model H8000-07

Instructions are a bit confusing. I followed TYPE 1. I pressed * and # at the same time to enter programming mode. I entered 1# (channel 1), 05# (genius code found in the instructions). Then I pressed the garage door opener button and dialed 1111#. The keyboard will blink three times to let you know it's working. 1111 now opens the door. Then I followed the instructions on page 2 to change the existing PIN to my own code. For the second channel you need to use 2# and 2222#. It looks prettyโ€ฆ

No security. Forget nested instructions - read the Revain website.

The device was delivered in new packaging. Fixing screw is missing. It had a scratch. Crumpled instructions from a previous buyer. I tried to get it working using the instructions that came with it, but couldn't. I found a youtube video of version 2 of the LT device and got it working with our opener so I wanted to leave it that way until I watched the video to the end. Programming takes place in 2 steps. Choose which door and which opener you use. Then change the code to the code you want from

Not too far for DIP switches

I read all the reviews and was concerned how many people said they couldn't program the remote. I first bought one that had the correct replacement number but no dip switches and refunded Revain. I have a Genie with DIP switches and wasn't sure if it was code 9 or code 12. I pulled out an old remote that was very inconsistent (Genie Home Depot programmable) and looked at the location of the DIP switches. There were 3 positions, with + and - and one in the middle. This one only allows + andโ€ฆ

Simple and light but you should be aware that LED lights will interfere with the remote control.

remote controls received quickly and in good condition. It was surprisingly easy to program the controls for each of our two garage door openers (both Chamberlains, different models from the early 2000's). The instructions were absolutely simple, clear, and to the point (I think some of the other reviewers have expressed issues with instructions regarding garage door openers). I programmed both remote controls for both garage doors in less than 15 minutes. The range isn't great (I'm usuallyโ€ฆ
