Review on IRWIN VISE GRIP GrooveLock Pliers 2078112 by Adrian Allen

I got these a few days ago along with Channel Lock pliers and Knipex Cobra of about the same size to get. I return Channel Lock and Knipex. After using all three for a few days on a bathroom remodel and various other jobs including replacing a gas water heater, I preferred the Irwin Vice Grip pliers. They have less play than other pliers and hold exceptionally well, even when you have to pull out small studs when you have to use the very end of the pliers. Nothing beats other pliers, but I like the Irwin best no matter the price. I've lost the good reviews on Knipex but I'm much more comfortable with Irwins and they are faster. I think some might buy the brand. To each his own. By the way, blocking channels also worked very well. I would put Irwin #1, Channel Lock #2, and Knipex #3. They're all good.
