I have a body shop in South Florida. I use Dorman hinge bushing kits all the time and have never had a problem with them. In this case, I used these kits to repair a Chevy 03 3500 truck for a workshop customer near me on May 24, 2018. Today, 03/19/2019, the truck is back in service and the bushings are already worn out by copper dust in the door jamb. I replace them with GM kits. They're $80 a loop instead of $24 a loop and I'm eating work. I think it's a quality control issue as the bushing is made of inferior material.
