Review on 🔒 Enhanced Security Combo: Kwikset Juno Keyed Entry Door Knob and Deadbolt Pack with Microban Antimicrobial Protection and SmartKey Security in Satin Nickel by Rudolph Mceachern

Ironically our final lock was a Kwikset so sizing was not an issue during installation. The set we replaced was probably original for the house or at least over 10 years old. It was definitely showing its age and the latch no longer worked (which suggests why we replaced it!). This new set was pretty easy to install. The latch was very easy and installed in less than five minutes. I didn't need instructions for the latch. The only tricky thing I encountered, user error, was misplacing the center section when it was too tall. Easy enough to fix. Without that error it would have been a two minute job. The pen itself was a bit fiddly and indicated a star deduction. The screws connecting the outer and inner handles are smaller than the holes. There's a locking mechanism that you have to twist to make it sink, but with limited lighting and space to work, that's a little tricky. The one we replaced had a standard long screw, so I suspect they changed their design. Not sure what it's for, but once you screw it into the grip it's very strong and definitely more durable than the one we replaced. So far I'm very happy with it. We only have it for one day but it's a lock and it seems secure, it's hard to ask for more at this price.
