We bought this router to replace an older Apple system. The installation went without incident until the firmware update. It was not updated through the app. No problem, I use the web interface. Update service is not available. Okay, I'll just do it manually. Vain. The satellites and the router do not recognize the update file. Contacted Netgear and found out. As far as I know the firmware on my system was quite old and there was no clear upgrade path. I wouldn't buy a Netgear toilet brush after this kind of support experience!
