Marginal. Works when at the right angle.
I needed to remove two constant tension clamps and it took about an hour with this tool. It helped a bit and the blocking feature is good. The problem, however, is that it doesn't work well if the clamp is misaligned. If you're in a tight situation, this doesn't work at all. It would be better if they tilted their heads a bit, like 20 degrees. Also, the handles were much larger than they should have been. If I had to make these clamps all over again, I'd snip the handles of this tool by at least a couple of inches (they also seem to flare downwards).
